What exactly is Transformative Bodywork?

Egle >> Transformative bodywork is an effective hands-on therapy for pain and tension relief as well as emotional or psychological release. It involves working directly with the human body in a form of different touch techniques, breath work and shifting the awareness from the mind to the body. It is a collaborative client centered experience between the massage therapist and the client.

For whom is Bodywork good for and what can I expect?

Egle >> We all hold a lot of stress in our shoulders, necks, backs, hips, and so many other places throughout our bodies. During a bodywork session we learn how to release those tensions and to relax. At the beginning we set the goal for the session - your desire to work on a specific physical or emotional aspect in your life that needs attention. By applying different ways of touch, breath and awareness we are shifting attention to our body parts and the body as a whole. Once more aligned with the body, we learn how to release the pain or stagnating patterns that no longer serve us. And we are getting closer to the individual goal that a person wants to address - less pain, more relaxation, more confidence, trust, love, more energy and excitement or less worries.

This kind of bodywork is a type of somatic coaching where a person can (re)discover who he/she is and to cultivate liberating ways of being that serve their goals and needs today.
